This transverse coil gondola is a specialty coil car featuring 10 individual troughs for loading various sizes of steel coils in the same car. These cars also can accommodate 84-foot coils on each end, in addition to smaller coils at the same time. These cars are equipped with steel covers to protect the coils from weather damage.

Our small covered hoppers are designed for dry bulk loads that require protection from the weather – including cement, sand, roofing granules, petroleum coke and other materials. The all-steel hoppers are equipped with three 30-inch diameter roof hatches for loading and two gravity discharge outlets.

We have a young fleet of 50-feet boxcars that features all-steel construction and a variety of door configurations including both 10-feet and 12-feet door openings.

Centerbeams are designed to carry bundled building supplies, including dimensional lumber, wallboard and fence posts. Our gravity large covered hoppers are all-steel and designed for soybean meal, grain and grain meal, with over 5,808 cubic feet to allow for maximum payloads. Products are loaded through 47′ 8″ x 24″ hatches at the top of the railcar and unloaded through bottom outlets, with 42″ x 42″ gates.

Due to the expensive nature of drying commodities such as distillers grain, jumbo covered hoppers are a practical choice if you need to ship large amounts of product that must have protection from damage caused by weather.

Our large covered hoppers are all-steel and designed for plastic resin pellets, with over 6,200 cubic feet to allow for maximum payloads. Products are loaded through 10 hatches at the top of the railcar and unloaded through bottom outlets.

Our medium covered hoppers are all-steel and designed for dry bulk loads that require protection from the weather – including corn, soybeans, meal, wheat, grains and other products. Products are loaded through top hatches and unloaded through wide, gravity gates at the bottom of the railcar.

These 3-unit double-stack intermodal cars are used for domestic intermodal service. These cars are designed for maximum flexibility to the shipper, with 53 feet, 2 inches between container guides. They are equipped to carry two 20-foot-long containers or can carry one 40-, 45-, 48- or 53-foot container per car.
